We had a lovely autumn day for the wedding of Mairi & Richard at the Holy Trinity church in Ayr. And after a very personal ceremony the couple and their guests celebrated at the beautiful Western House Hotel just a short distance away.

Its always nice when on a very rainy day we get even a small break in the weather that allows us to go outside for some photos, especially at a venue as stunning as the Lochside House Hotel. It was a beautiful ceremony and a fun packed reception for the newlywed Mr & Mrs Hamilton and we had a great time capturing it all in photographs.

One of our favourite venues to take wedding photographs is the excellent Forbes of Kingennie near Dundee.
Our last visit there was for the wedding of Mr & Mrs Meldrum, a beautiful young couple who had a lovely intimate ceremony in the recently opened ceremony venue.
After the ceremony we went over to the boathouse where we got some beautiful shots of the newlyweds followed by family group shots at the side of the loch.
