We had a lovely autumn day for the wedding of Mairi & Richard at the Holy Trinity church in Ayr. And after a very personal ceremony the couple and their guests celebrated at the beautiful Western House Hotel just a short distance away.
Its always nice when on a very rainy day we get even a small break in the weather that allows us to go outside for some photos, especially at a venue as stunning as the Lochside House Hotel. It was a beautiful ceremony and a fun packed reception for the newlywed Mr & Mrs Hamilton and we had a great time capturing it all in photographs.
One of our favourite venues to take wedding photographs is the excellent Forbes of Kingennie near Dundee.
Our last visit there was for the wedding of Mr & Mrs Meldrum, a beautiful young couple who had a lovely intimate ceremony in the recently opened ceremony venue.
After the ceremony we went over to the boathouse where we got some beautiful shots of the newlyweds followed by family group shots at the side of the loch.
The beautiful wedding of Craig & Elaine at Alona Hotel in Strathclyde park. An almost perfect day for wedding photography although we had a slight wind that gave us the chance ot get some lovely shots of the brides veil blowing naturally. And the day was topped off with some lovely sunset wedding photographs out in the park.
Another of our Summer weddings from this year, Mr & Mrs Cowan's beautiful wedding at the very unique Ghillie Dhu in the heart of Edinburgh City.
A beautiful venue for a wedding and Edinburgh City is great for getting out and about for wedding photographs.
It wasn't the driest day for the wedding of Mr & Mrs Lawrie at Dunblane Cathedral but we still managed to capture lots of fantastic photos for the couple.
After a traditional wedding ceremony at the cathedral the couple and their guests celebrated the marriage at the Dunblane Hydro hotel.
We have photographed so many weddings in Ayrshire and across the length and breadth of Scotland over the years, however the wedding of Mark & Pauline was without doubt one of the most lovely weddings we've photographed and one we felt very privileged to be asked to take part in.
Mark is a fellow wedding photographer and having seen various styles of ceremonies over the years he and his bride opted for a humanist celebration in the back garden of his brides Grandfathers house. And with the house being at the back of Dundonald Castle it was just a short wander up the hill with the couple to get some great pictures.
